Czech Koruna
The Czech koruna (or crown) (sign: Kฤ; code: CZK) was adopted as the official currency of the Czech Republic after the country gained its independence from Russia in 1993. The koruna is one of the nine currencies of the European Union. The Czech Republic is one of the few EU members to still use it's own currency rather than the euro. The country is legally bound to adopt the euro currency in the future, but it is not currently bound to do this by a set deadline. One crown consists of 100 hellers (abbreviated as "h"), but hellers are no longer in circulation and the smallest unit of physical tender is 1 Kฤ. However, for FX and pricing goods internationally, hellers are still used and then rounded to the nearest koruna at checkout.

โThe Czech koruna is about the 27th most traded currency in the world. While is it is not the most popular currency on in the forex market, it may be around for a while. Although the Czech Republic is legally bound to adopt the euro, the 2021 Czech Republic prime minister announced this would not happen during his term, stating it would be disadvantageous to the Czech Republic.
