Romanian Leu
The official currency of Romania is the Romanian leu (plural lei; sign: L; code: RON). The coins denominations are 1 ban, 5, 10 and 50 bani. Furthermore, the country's banknotes begin at 1 leu, 5, 10, 50, 100, 200 and 500 lei. Romania is expecting to adopt the Euro as the country's primary currency in 2024.
